A
sunset is a universal symbol that appeals to all people, regardless
of outer differences, such as race, nationality or religion. You might
consider looking at Mother Mary – and other spiritual Beings –
the same way, namely as universal beings who are above and beyond any
of the divisions we human beings love to create. Consider the following:
- If
you grew up Catholic, you might think Mother Mary is exclusively for
Catholics.
- If
you did NOT grow up Catholic, you might think Mother Mary is exclusively
for Catholics.
In
either case, you are using a division created by human beings and projecting
it upon a spiritual Being. Yet if you look at the lives of the most
spiritual people on this planet – and you can find them in every
religion, even outside the field of religion – you will see that
during their lifetimes, they gradually became more universal in their
approach to spirituality and religion. Consider how Mother Theresa spent
her life caring for the poorest of the poor—most of them Hindus.
Consider how Jesus reached out to the lepers, the tax collectors, the
Romans, the Samaritans and others who were considered outcasts by the
general population.
Many truly spiritual people have begun to realize that the human mind
has limited capabilities for understanding God and the spiritual realm.
The human mind thinks in terms of differences and dualities, and it
is linear. The spiritual reality has an underlying unity and it is spherical.
The most spiritually minded people have all realized that in order to
truly understand God, we have to reach beyond the dualistic mind, the
mind that wants to put everything in a mental box and slap a label on
it, the mind that is full of prejudices and always judges everything
and everyone based on its own standard.
Good
reasons to overcome prejudice
Why
do you think Jesus said, "Judge not?" Could it possibly be
because he knew that as long as we are stuck in the dualistic, judgmental
mind, we cannot find the "way, the truth and the life?" Where
can we find God's kingdom? Didn't Jesus say:
"Neither
shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of
God is within you" (Luke 17:21)
So
if we are so hung up on the divisions and prejudices created by the
outer mind, how could we possibly go within ourselves and discover God's
kingdom? Many spiritual teachers underscore the need to open our minds,
even to empty our minds of preconceived opinions, in order to find a
higher truth. Was that why Jesus said:
Verily I say unto you,
Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not
enter into the kingdom of heaven. (Matthew 18:3)
Did
he mean that we need to approach spirituality with the open mind of
a child, instead of thinking we know everything. What happens when we
create a mental image based on the outer mind and then project it unto
a spiritual Being or God? Consider why God gave Moses these two commandments
as the very first ones:
3 Thou shalt have no other
gods before me.
4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness
[of any thing] that [is] in heaven above, or that [is] in the earth
beneath, or that [is] in the water under the earth: (Exodus 20).
When
we create a mental image of what Mother Mary should be like and what
she should do or say, we are truly creating a graven image. Obviously,
this image does not affect Mother Mary in the least, because she is
a spiritual Being who is above and beyond the mental images we create
here on Earth. The Earth was still round when everyone believed it to
be flat.
Yet our graven images do affect us in the sense that our relationship
to Mother Mary will be affected by our prejudices. Therefore, her ability
to help us win our spiritual freedom will be limited by our mental image
and our expectations – prejudices, judgments – of what she
can or cannot say.
Have you ever met religious people who are very prejudiced and judgmental
toward people who are not members of their church? If you say anything
that doesn't conform to the doctrines they see as infallible, they will
immediately close their minds, perhaps even accuse you of being of the
devil. Consider that it was people with this attitude who repeatedly
attacked Jesus and plotted his death. They did not want to hear the
Living Truth that Jesus came to bring—they wanted the embodied
Christ to conform to their beliefs and expectations. When Jesus refused
to do so, they rejected him and said he could not be the Messiah.
Yet
we all have to look for the beam in our own eyes and consider how we
might have limited Mother Mary, Jesus, other spiritual Beings and God
by putting an overlay of human expectations upon them.
The purpose of this website
The purpose of this website is that Mother Mary wants to give you teachings
and tools that will help you rise above human limitations, including
judgments and expectations. Yet unless you are willing to approach Mother
Mary's gifts with a universal sense of awareness, with an open mind
and heart, you are likely to reject her offerings based on some prejudice
that was, perhaps, programmed into your mind during childhood and never
examined.
Please
be willing to take an open-minded look at what Mother Mary offers you
on this website. Please be willing to take a look at your prejudices
and examine them to see whether they are true and whether they serve
you or limit you.
Truly, Mother Mary is a universal spiritual Being who is above and beyond
any human prejudices. Therefore, what she offers on this website can
appeal to anyone. Mother Mary holds, as she explains here,
a spiritual office as the representative of the Divine Mother –
the Divine Feminine – for planet Earth. It is her assignment from
God to help all people discover the Mother aspect of God and how to
use it to manifest God's kingdom on Earth.

Why is the feminine aspect of God important? Because – as Mother
Mary explains here
– God creates by manifesting itself as two polarities, namely
an expanding (masculine) and a contracting (feminine) polarity. It was
the harmonious interaction between these two aspects of God that gave
rise to the entire universe. This is clearly explained in the Bible:
I
am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord,
which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. (Revelation
1:8)
We human beings – at least in the West – have generally
lost our contact with and understanding of the divine feminine, and
thus we have become unbalanced. Consider how many religions portray
God as exclusively masculine and deny the feminine aspect of God, or
defines it as being responsible for the Fall of man.
As Mother Mary explains throughout this website, everything was created
from the Divine polarity, meaning that everything has both the masculine
and feminine polarities within it. If we are to express our highest
potential, if we are to become whole beings, if we are to find happiness
and peace of mind, it is essential for us to reestablish the correct
balance between the two polarities of our beings. Only then can we free
ourselves from what Saint Paul called the "warring in our members"
(Romans 7:23) and avoid the trap described by Jesus:
And
if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand. (Mark
3:25)
