Why
is Mother Mary important today?
Today, many people are not familiar with Mother Mary, especially
if they didn’t grow up Catholic. So this is an introduction to
Mother Mary, and it addresses the questions, “Who is Mother Mary?
Why is she relevant today? What does she mean for you as a spiritual
seeker in today’s world?”

We all know from the Bible that Mother Mary is the mother of Jesus.
But most people don’t realize where she is today and who she is
today. I am not here to bash any particular church, but if you look
at history, you will see that there was a period about 3-400 years after
Jesus completed his mission when the orthodox church, the Roman Catholic
Church, started forming. And if you look at the historical facts, you
see that part of what happened was that the church elevated Jesus above
and beyond any other human being.
I don’t know about you, but I grew up in Denmark, which has a
Lutheran state church, and it always presented Jesus as being way up
there, way above any of us. The impression was that we couldn’t
reach him, we couldn’t learn from him, we couldn’t do what
he did—that was just unthinkable. If you look at the process of
Jesus being put up on that pedestal, Mother Mary was actually put down.
The Catholics say that she had an assumption, whereas Jesus had an ascension.
If you really start looking into that, it is very hard to figure out
what the difference is. I have come to understand that there really
is no difference.
I am sure we are all familiar with the concept of reincarnation,
and what I have learned over the years is that it is not meant to be
an endless wheel. When I was younger, I came in contact with reincarnation
through the Eastern teachings, and they always presented it as a wheel
that goes round and round, and you never get out of it—like a
merry-go-round. I could never accept that; my soul just felt it just
wasn’t right. So I learned later that for each embodiment we are
meant to go higher and higher in consciousness, and eventually we can
reach a point where we can graduate. Planet Earth is a schoolroom, and
we can graduate and then we permanently ascend to the spiritual realm.
It doesn’t necessarily matter what you want to call the beings
up there, some call them spirit guides, some call them ascended beings
or ascended masters or the Ascended Host. Yet the important concept
is that they have ascended from Earth, meaning that they have been in
embodiment and they know what it is like to be down here. They know
how difficult it is, they know what we are going through because they
have been here. They have passed that final exam.
When you make your ascension, you can choose to go one of two ways.
You can continue to move on into higher realms because there are many
spheres in the spiritual realm. Or you can choose to stay with Earth
and work with those who have not yet ascended. Many of the ascended
beings have done that, including Jesus and Mother Mary. So Mother Mary
is today an ascended being, an ascended master, who is serving as one
of our spiritual teachers.
The divine feminine
One of the reasons Mother Mary is still relevant to us today is that
she represents the divine feminine. How many of you have read The DaVinci
Code? [Click

of you. One of the key concepts presented in the book is that in the
history of creating the orthodox church and its doctrines, the divine
feminine was downplayed. In reality, there is much historical evidence
to show that Jesus placed women in much higher regard than the orthodox
Christian churches do. [Click

Why is the divine feminine important to us today? There is a universal
principle that you see in many other religions. I am sure all of you
are familiar with the Tai Chi. It shows the two basic forces of the
universe, namely a masculine and a feminine, or Yin and Yang. Mother
Mary has explained through me that the masculine
is the expanding force, and the feminine is the contracting force.
They work together, and only when they work together in harmony do you
have a harmonious creation.
If there is not the right balance between the two forces, you will have
an unbalanced state. You can have that in your own being or you can
have it in society. And I don’t think it takes a lot of imagination
to look at our society and see that we have a lot of imbalance. Part
of the reason is that for several thousand years the Judeo-Christian
tradition has been so male-dominated, so male-focused. And the feminine
has been downplayed.
Even those of us who are in a male body are not 100% male souls. The
soul is not either male or female, the soul has a mixture of both male
and female elements. Certain spiritual teachings say that some souls
are 60% male and 40% female and other souls have the opposite polarity.
But every soul has both elements, and in order to grow spiritually,
you have to have some balance between the two. And that is why it is
important to connect to the feminine aspect of God, which has been taken
out of our religious tradition.
Many of the pre-Christian religions in the West had the concept that
God is masculine and feminine, and they revered the divine feminine.
Today, Mother Mary represents the divine feminine. After she made her
ascension, she decided to stay with Earth, to stay with us, to help
us get in contact with the divine feminine and understand it and balance
it in ourselves, so that we can have the proper balance in our souls.
That is why she is important, especially in today’s age.
Mother Mary and the New Age
I am sure you are all familiar with the concept of the change in spiritual
cycles or ages. We have all heard about the Age of Aquarius and
that the last 2,000 years represented the Age of Pisces. Many things
need to happen in the Aquarian Age, but one of them is that there needs
to be a better balance between the masculine and feminine. And that
is why you see, over the last century, that women have been liberated
or whatever you want to call it.
I remember as a young child learning that here was a time when men could
vote, but women couldn’t vote. I was totally floored and couldn’t
even imagine how that could be. What you see in society is that the
feminine is being raised up, but it isn’t just women. We need
to look beyond those traditional gender roles and raise up the feminine
in all of us so we can have a balance between the two. That is what
Mother Mary represents to us.
I was always a very spiritual child, but I had a very hard time relating
to Jesus as a child because he was so way up there. I knew there was
something wrong with the image I had been given of Jesus, I knew there
was something missing, but I couldn’t grasp it with my outer mind.
So it was difficult for me to relate to him. When I grew older and started
finding spiritual teachings, Mother Mary became my personal open door
to healing my relationship to Jesus. I could relate to her, and because
I hadn’t grown up Catholic, I didn’t have many preconceived
opinions about her.
I realized that she is a spiritual being, and that she has appeared
to us in many different places, such as Fatima and Medjugorje. I discovered
that she has spoken through a number of people, giving spiritual teachings
and books. When I found some of those teachings, I could relate to them.
I could relate to Mother Mary, whereas it was much more difficult for
me to relate to Jesus. And it took many years before I felt that I had
made peace with Jesus and put aside that whole image of him, that whole
idol that I had been given as I was growing up. And that is one of the
reasons why Mother Mary is important on a personal level; she can help
us attain balance and heal our relationship to Jesus. She can help us
realize that we are children of God, just as Jesus was a child of God.
She can help us feel the Mother flame of God, which empowers us to accept
that we too are sons and daughters of God and that Jesus is our brother,
not some idol to be worshipped.
Mother Mary can help us find balance
Another reason Mother Mary is important is that if you step back from
all the outer teachings and even go to some of the universal symbols,
such as the Tai Chi, you can say that the spiritual is the masculine
polarity and matter is the feminine polarity in the Spirit-matter continuum.
And matter is, of course, Ma-ter, which is another word for mother.
So the spiritual realm is made of energy that has a higher vibration,
whereas the matter universe is made of different vibrations, and they
represent the feminine polarity. Everything in this world is born of
the feminine polarity, the Mother aspect, of God.
The key to overcoming many of the problems we see in the world is to
work with the feminine, to balance the feminine, to defend it. We need
to have it fill its proper role so it can be in the right polarity with
the masculine element, so the two become a harmonious whole instead
of fighting each other.
When you think about the fact that there is an expanding and a contracting
force, you see that they are opposite in direction. If they are fighting
each other, you have what Jesus called a house divided against itself,
whether it is in you personally or in society. Instead, the two forces
are meant to balance each other. The expanding force of the Father is
meant to create growth because all life is growth. If there is no growth,
if there is no transcendence, there really is no life.
When Jesus said, “Unless you partake of my body and blood, you
have no life in you,” he was really saying that you can be alive
in a physical body and you can fulfill all the criteria for being alive
as a human being, but you are not spiritually alive. You don’t
have the life of seeing yourself as a spiritual being, and you are not
growing, you are not transcending yourself. Your life is meant to be
an upward spiral. If you are standing still or going down, you really
don’t have spiritual life.
The only way to have the spiritual life is when the Father, the masculine,
the expanding force, is a little bit stronger than the feminine force.
You have probably all heard that the Bible says that the man is the
head of the household. I have met a lot of women in today’s society
who resent that statement. But the real spiritual meaning of that statement
is that the masculine element needs to be in a position where it helps
you grow so that you don’t stand still, so that you don’t
go backward.
But it also needs to be in harmony with the contracting force, so you
don’t expand too rapidly. Jesus talked about those who take Heaven
by force, and let me give you a quick example of what that can mean.
As I grew up, my parents were not religious at all. When I was 18, I
had been to church four times, when I was baptized, at my confirmation,
at my sister’s baptism and at my uncle’s wedding—four
times in 18 years I had gone to church. Yet I was always a very spiritual
child and I had a deep longing, I just never found anything to satisfy
my longing. They say, "When the student is ready, the teacher appears"
and I guess I wasn’t ready until I was 18. And then I found the
spiritual path and realized that many people had walked that path.
I instantly became very enthusiastic about the path, and I was ready
to throw myself at it with everything I had and put aside everything
else. And I can see today that I was unbalanced, and I have seen other
people who became even more unbalanced. They wanted to do something
really radical to either have a spiritual experience or have maximum
growth. And then you can actually get to a point where you are growing
so fast that your sense of identity just can’t keep up with it.
You are losing your bearings, you are really losing your balance. And
that is again because you have let the expanding force take you too
far too fast. So what you need to do is to reconnect to the contracting
force.
The problem is that most people have actually too much of the contracting
force. They are unbalanced in that realm, meaning that they don’t
want to change. They want everything to stay the same, they want to
stay where they are comfortable because it is just easier—they
are familiar with it.
If you go to traditional religions, especially many of the orthodox
Christian churches, they believe everything should stay the same. They
believe the Bible is the infallible word of God and we don’t need
anything beyond what was said 2,000 years ago.
It is like they are assuming that 2,000 years ago – or even further
back in Old Testament times – people had a high enough state of
consciousness that God could give them the highest possible teaching.
But if you go back and look at what people knew about the world, you
can see that the more we know, the more the Ascended Host, the more
God, can tell us. We can understand more, we have a better foundation
for understanding something today than people had 2,000 years ago. So
it is obvious that God can tell us more than he could tell people back
then.
But if you have become unbalanced in the contracting element, you are
saying, “Oh no, I don’t want to change, I want to stay where
I am comfortable, I just want to do the same thing for the rest of my
life and then I want to feel that when I get up there, I can say to
God, ‘Look what I did, I believed everything that is in the Bible,
I went to church every Sunday, I didn’t curse, I didn’t
do this, I didn’t do that and you’ve gotta save me.’”
Yet what they don’t realize is that Jesus has already told us
what would happen if we did that. There is a very telling statement
in the Bible, where Jesus says that “Unless your righteousness
exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you shall in
no wise enter the kingdom,” meaning that you can’t buy your
way into Heaven. You are either in Heaven or you are not in Heaven,
and when Jesus was challenged by the scribes and the Pharisees and they
asked him when the kingdom of Heaven was going to come, he said that
it doesn’t come with observation. The kingdom of God is within
you.
And if you think about that statement, you realize that either you have
to believe that there is some actual kingdom that is inside of you somewhere,
wherever that would be, or you have to realize there is an inner meaning.
Jesus was not talking about an actual physical kingdom, he was talking
about a state of consciousness. So what needs to happen is that you
need to change your state of consciousness so you can tune in to the
kingdom, which is simply just a higher vibration, a higher state of
consciousness. And obviously, today we know a lot more than they did
2,000 years ago, so we have a better foundation for understanding a
lot of spiritual concepts.
The most important spiritual statement
Just to go on that note, I would like ask you a question. What I would
like you to tell me is, “What is, in your estimation, the most
important spiritual statement that has been made in the last 150 years?”
I am looking for something that is short, concise but it has very profound
ramifications for spiritual people. Any suggestions?
Audience: That God’s love is unconditional.
Audience: We are not human beings trying to have a spiritual
experience, we are spiritual beings having a human experience.
Audience: All you need is love.
I will show you which one
I think it is. I am not saying your suggestions aren’t good; they
are all very valid but here is the one I think is the single most important
statement made during the last 150 years:
E = mc2
You all know what is, right? Why is that so important to spiritual people?
Audience: You can’t destroy matter.
Yes, but how did we think
before he made that statement?
Audience: We thought we knew that the world was made from
both matter and energy and they were separate.
Exactly! And this is one
thing I get a chuckle from because scientists are sometimes a little
negative toward spiritual people. But if you look at the history of
science, you see several periods in which scientists believed they had
discovered the final theory of how the world was created. And this was
the case in the late 1800s. There were scientists who gave lectures
and wrote articles for scientific magazines about “The end of
Science.” They thought they had discovered everything that needed
to be discovered and that they had all the important concepts down.
There were a few minor details that they couldn’t figure out,
but they were just anomalies, and they thought they would figure them
out eventually. But one of those anomalies was a problem that fascinated
Einstein, and when he started thinking about this anomaly – that
most scientists thought was unimportant – he came up with the
theory of relativity and it completely revolutionized science.
Before that, scientists believed that the universe was made of two elements;
energy and matter and they were completely separate. They didn’t
mix; there was a barrier between them. They could interact, but you
couldn’t convert one into the other. When you think about it,
this was very parallel to what religious people had been saying for
thousands of years. There is Heaven and there is Earth and there is
a barrier between them.
Well, with that simple equation Einstein not only took away the barrier
between energy and matter, but he also took away the barrier between
Heaven and Earth, between the spiritual realm and the material realm.
He did that by creating an equation with energy on one side and matter
on the other, which means that energy can be converted into matter and
matter can be converted into energy. That has been proven in nuclear
reactions. But what it really means is that matter is another form of
energy.
This chair is not solid matter. It is vibrating energy that has temporarily
been captured into a certain form, a certain matrix, where it stays—at
least for a while. But it is still energy and if you go to the level
of the atom, you see that the atom is mostly empty space. We have all
seen the model of the atom as a miniature solar system. Today, scientists
dispute that model, but what they don’t dispute is that the atom
is 99% empty space.
There is hardly anything there; it just looks solid to our senses because
our senses can only see things, see vibrations, within a certain spectrum.
We all learned in school that we have red light, blue light and violet
light. And red light vibrates at a certain frequency, blue light has
a higher frequency and violet light is an even higher frequency. If
you go beyond violet, you have ultraviolet, which our eyes can’t
see but it is still there, it is still real.
So with his simple equation, Einstein basically blew away scientific
materialism. And he also blew away orthodox religion, which says that
there is a barrier between Heaven and Earth. They say you can’t
contact the spiritual realm and they can’t contact you, except
through very few exceptional people like Jesus. Or maybe the pope can
talk to God, but don’t think you can. This is what they have been
saying for a very long time. And if you look at why they have been saying
that, it is pretty simple. They want to control us.
Religion and control
If you go back to Jesus’ time, you might wonder, “Why was
Jesus killed?” Any ideas?
Audience: He was a threat to the established religious powers.
Yes, and why was he a threat?
Audience: He was speaking the truth.
Audience: They were afraid that he would attract so many followers
that they would lose their power.
Right, but the main reason
for their fear was one single statement that Jesus made, and I already
mentioned it earlier. He said, “The kingdom of God is within you.”
That was the one thing that riled the establishment so bad that they
had to kill him. And the reason was that back then people believed that
there was an impenetrable barrier between Heaven and Earth, and the
only way your soul could be saved was to go through a door. And there
was only one door, and it was inside the Jewish temple. But you couldn’t
get through that door unless you did what the priesthood told you to
do; unless you allowed them to control what you knew, what you believed
and how you lived your life. You had to live in a very small box that
they had defined for you. And here comes Jesus and says that this is
completely untrue. You don’t need anything outside yourself to
be saved, because you have it all in here. You don’t need the
outer church—that is basically what he said.
In a sense, he didn’t say you don’t need an outer church,
because a church can be very valuable in terms of community and fellowship
and people inspiring each other. So he didn’t say that there doesn’t
need to be a church. But he said that the church can’t keep you
out of Heaven. Nobody in this world can keep you out of Heaven and that
exposes the lie we have been fed over thousands of years.
So many religions have started out with a very love-based message, and
then they have been turned into an outer religion that gives a fear-based
message, saying that if you don’t do what they say and don’t
believe what they tell you to believe, you are going to go to hell.
That is a fear-based message. Jesus didn’t say you would go to
hell if you didn’t believe what he said. He said that you can
go within. You don’t need to follow the outer church, you don’t
need to follow the outer dictates, but you do have to change your consciousness.
You have to grow, you have to keep transcending yourself.
A false image of salvation
It is like we have been fed this outer image of salvation, where we
think it is like going through this door and buying a piece of merchandise.
We think it is a mechanical process. You fork over the money; they will
give you the merchandise. It’s an exchange. And we think it is
the same thing, that we need to do some outer things, believe the doctrines
and follow the rules, and then God has to save us. But in reality salvation
is a state of consciousness, and you can change your state of consciousness
while you are in a physical body. So basically you can be in Heaven
on Earth by changing your consciousness. Because the kingdom of God
is within you and that is why Paul said, “Let this mind be in
you, which was also in Christ Jesus.”
Jesus said, and this is one
of the things that confounds fundamentalist Christians, “Those
who believe on me shall do the works that I did.” Just imagine
that you are out in the park, and you are standing at the edge of the
pond and you are about to take that step out on the water. I don’t
believe I can walk on water, but I am willing to admit that the reason
I don’t believe it is that in my current state of consciousness,
I don’t have the absolutely firm belief that I can walk on water.
So the key to doing the works that Jesus did is that I must change my
consciousness. The buck stops here. I am the one who has to change.
It is not a matter of going to church every Sunday and doing these outer
things, and then God has to somehow magically change my consciousness
when I die and knock on the pearly gate. I can start right now and change
my consciousness here on Earth. And that is the message I believe every
spiritual teaching in today’s world gives. All of the teachings
that are out there give the same message from different sources because
that is the message of the times. That’s the message of the new
age.
There is a quote in the Bible, “Every man shall sit under his
own vine and his own fig tree and none shall make them afraid.”
And the way I see that is that we all sit with our own personal connections
to the spiritual realm. And that doesn’t mean we can’t come
together in churches and in fellowship, but it means that we have gone
within and established our own personal connections. And that’s
what it’s all about, and that’s what the Ascended Host want
to help us accomplish. They really came to give us an example of how
we can do what they have done.
Jesus didn’t come to save us; he came to show us how to save ourselves
by changing our consciousness. And Mother Mary gives us another very,
very important example of that. You probably remember the story in the
Bible, where the angel appears to her. And if you think about that situation—here
is a young girl, and she has been brought up to be a temple virgin.
She thinks she is going to be living in a monastery her whole life,
and it’s a very comforting, secure life. And all of a sudden an
angel appears to her and says, “No, you are going to bear a child.”
And she is not married; she knows that her parents are going to be completely
against this and her society is going to condemn her for it. There was
every reason in the world why Mother Mary should have said, “Hey,
forget it, find somebody else!” But she didn’t, she said,
“Be it unto me according to thy will.” And in that example,
she really showed that in order to have the proper balance between the
masculine and feminine elements, the feminine has to be willing to grow
and transcend and go beyond its comfort zone. Likewise, our souls –
as the feminine aspects of our beings – have to be willing to
come up higher and align ourselves with the masculine aspect, the I
AM Presence. And we do that through the Christ consciousness.
We all get comfortable—that’s part of life. But if we really
want to grow, there comes a point when we have to come up higher. We
have to turn up the heat a little bit and say, “You know, I want
more out of life; there’s gotta be something more.” And
that is what all the spiritual teachers have been trying to show us.
There is more, and we can have it through changing our consciousness,
not through some kind of magic but by going within.
Mother Mary’s new teachings on energy
How do you even begin the process of transforming your consciousness?
You have to know about energy. What Mother Mary has done though me is
that she has given some very detailed teachings on how to not only change
our own consciousness but change the planet as a whole. I would like
to briefly describe them because they are very much in line with E=mc2
because her teachings are based on the fact that everything is energy.
And to give you a simple illustration, you can think of an iceberg that
has 90% of its mass under water. Well, what is above the water is your
conscious mind and what is below is your subconscious. The entire iceberg
is your soul, so there is clearly more to you than the conscious mind.
When we look at the teaching that everything is energy, that means everything
is vibration. So as we discussed, visible light vibrates at a certain
frequency and likewise the material world that we see is simply vibrations
within a certain frequency spectrum that our eyes can detect. Yet above
that is a realm of higher vibrations, higher frequencies, and that is
what we generally call the spiritual realm. What Mother Mary has explained
is that up here in the spiritual realm is your spiritual self. Many
teachings call it the I AM Presence [Click
here for a more detailed description] because it is the real part
of you; it is what gives you the sense that “I AM.” Your
soul or your conscious mind is below this dividing line, which is not
a barrier but just a frequency between the material universe and the
spiritual realm.
So everything was created from the higher energies in the spiritual
realm that were gradually lowered in vibration. Jesus says, “My
Father’s house has many mansions,” meaning that there are
many levels of vibration even in the spiritual realm. And some of them
we probably don’t know about because our consciousness isn’t
high enough to realize what is up there, but we certainly know there
are quite a few. Anyone who has studied spiritual teachings will know
that.
If everything is created from the higher energies of the spiritual realm
that were lowered in vibration, then that applies to you personally.
There is a stream of energy from your I AM Presence that goes to your
soul, through your subconscious mind and into your conscious mind. Everything
you do is done with energy. That is a consequence of Einstein’s
theory. Everything is energy, so everything
you do is done with energy.
Here is the catch. You have been given free will by God. God gives you
a certain amount of “talents,” as Jesus explained in his
parable about the talents. And then God says, “Now go and play.
Go do what you want to do with that. You have free will.” But
the catch is that, as the first law of thermodynamics says, energy cannot
be created and it cannot be destroyed. So whatever we do with God’s
energy, when we qualify that energy, the energy is not going to simply
disappear. It is going to stick around and so the question is how we
qualify the energy.
I am sure you can all see that if we are in a loving state of mind,
we are qualifying God’s energy with a very high vibration. We
have all felt love and we all know it is a much higher vibration than
when someone is mad at you and screaming at the top of his lungs because
you cut him off in traffic and it delayed him one second. I don’t
know if you have noticed this, but it seems like the worst sin you can
commit these days is to delay someone two seconds in traffic. There
is hardly anything that gets people that mad [Laughter].
Audience: There is even a hand signal for that! [Laughter]
That’s right, and I
am not going to demonstrate it here. So my point is that we all know
there is a difference in vibration. And what Jesus explained in his
parable about the talents is that when we take the energy we get from
the spiritual realm, and we qualify it with a loving vibration, it will
flow back up and then it becomes what he called our treasure laid up
in Heaven. He said not to lay up for ourselves treasures on Earth, where
they can be stolen, but to lay them up in Heaven where they cannot be
stolen. That is because this becomes our good deeds, but not only that,
whatever flows up will, as the parable of the talents said, be multiplied
by God and your spiritual self and then sent back down. So you create
a figure-eight flow between your spiritual self and your soul and you
increase your creative powers.
Audience: So it that what we call good karma?
Right. Any good deed you
have done is first of all recorded in Heaven but it is also multiplied
and that is how you grow spiritually. You receive more energy, as is
said, “You have been faithful over a few things; I will make you
ruler over many things.” The reality is that you have been faithful
over a small portion of energy, you haven’t killed anybody with
it, so God will reward you by giving you more because you have shown
you are responsible.
Now, what happens when we go into a fear vibration? Many psychologists
and spiritual teachers say there are two basic human emotions, love
and fear. And out of fear springs the other negative emotions we have—anger,
hatred, whatever. Fear is really a sense of separation; it is a fear
of loss and that sense of loss came because our souls lost the conscious
connection to our spiritual selves. We forgot who we were. That is what
most spiritual teachings talk about. The Bible talks about a fall, but
the fall in the Garden of Eden was a symbol for what has happened to
every soul in the sense that we have fallen into a lower state of consciousness,
where we are no longer consciously aware that we are spiritual beings
having a human experience and not the other way around.
So we think we are mortal human beings and we might even think we are
sinners or hold all kinds of other negative images of ourselves. So
when that happens, the energy is qualified with a lower vibration of
fear, and it can’t flow back up. It is not a high enough vibration
to go back into the spiritual realm. That means we do what Jesus explained
as the one servant who buried his talents in the ground. That is a symbol
for the fact that we take God’s energy and we bury it here in
the material world. We qualify it with a lower vibration so it can’t
flow back up.
And the more energy we have buried here in the material universe, the
more our consciousness will be drawn to earthly pursuits because the
energy will pull on our thoughts and emotions. As Jesus said, where
your treasure is, there will your heart be also. So if you want to grow
spiritually and raise your consciousness, you simply have to get rid
of the misqualified energy that pulls your consciousness down to Earth.
The difference between love and fear
According to the first law of thermodynamics, misqualified energy will
stay in that vibration indefinitely. I am not saying forever, but indefinitely,
and it will follow us from lifetime to lifetime. So instead of laying
up treasures in Heaven, we are laying up burdens down here, and that
is why you can have persons who are born with immense physical handicaps
or problems of other kinds. They are reaping what they have sown in
past lives, but it is really energy. It is not this angry God who is
sitting up there saying, “You were bad three lifetimes ago; I’m
really going to make it hard for you this time.” We are doing
it to ourselves. It is just a matter of energy and we don’t need
to go into this whole thing with sin and guilt and fear. It’s
just a matter of how we qualify energy.
If we qualify it with a loving vibration, we make life better for ourselves.
If we qualify it with fear, we make it harder for ourselves. As we talked
about before, you have the expanding and the contracting forces, and
love is an expanding force. Love never stays the same, love wants to
move, love wants to grow, love is always expanding. But fear is contracting,
fear is afraid of changing, fear is afraid of growth. We think, “It
can only get worse. We gotta stick to what we have; we know what we
have.”
Imagine yourself walking down the street and you see a dollar bill on
the sidewalk. And just as you bend down to get it, you hear a voice
saying, “Wait!” And as you look up, there is a man standing
there and he kind of looks a bit like a saint. And he says to you, “If
you will leave that one dollar bill, I will give you a hundred dollar
bill.” What are you going to do? If you are in a loving vibration,
you are going to feel that he seems sincere. “It’s just
a dollar bill, I am going to leave it.” If you are in a fear mode,
you are going to say, “No, I will take what I can see because
this one I know I can get. I don‘t know what this guy is up to;
he could be fooling me.”
That is the difference between love and fear—in fear we don’t
dare to grow, we don’t dare to take a chance, we think that anything
different from what we have could only be worse. If you are in a loving
vibration, you think, “But things could get better, there could
be more, I could have more understanding.” Essentially all spiritual
teachers are offering us the hundred dollar bill of a higher state of
consciousness—if only we will leave behind the one dollar bill
of the lower state of consciousness. Yet if you have a lot of fear-based
energy in your subconscious mind, you won't be able to believe that
promise, so you will tend to take what seems like a sure bet.
When you are in a fear vibration, you think the Bible must be the infallible
word of God and anything beyond the Bible is the work of the devil and
we shouldn’t look at it. If you are in a loving vibration, you
think, “But there could be higher spiritual teachings out there.
I could increase my understanding, because, after all, there are a lot
of questions that the Bible can’t answer, and I would like to
get the answers. But they are obviously not in the Bible or I would
have had them already. So I have to look somewhere else, and if I don’t
dare look anywhere else, how am I going to find them?”
Spirals of negative energy
So what happens if we keep accumulating fear-based energy? Well, as
energy accumulates, it becomes more and more intense and it starts forming
what you see in the ocean as eddies, whirlpools or maelstroms. And the
same can happen with energy, it becomes so intense that it starts swirling
around. And now instead of just being energy that is sitting there floating
around like a cloud, it becomes more intense. Air is not dangerous,
but when air is sucked into a tornado, you have an entirely different
scenario. And now there is a centrifugal force inside of that tornado
that is pulling everything into it, and that is what can happen with
negative emotional energy.
You see that in people’s personal lives. You can see that sometimes
people can get sucked into a downward spiral. It can be depression,
it can be anger, it can be hopelessness. And it is simply that they
have accumulated so much fear-based energy in their subconscious minds,
in their energy fields, that it starts pulling on their emotions and
their thoughts. And at some point it gets so strong that they are overwhelmed.
They can’t control it anymore, they can’t stop it, so it
just keeps getting worse and worse.
And if you take this to a larger scale, you can see that a society,
a city, can go into a downward spiral. As an example, take many big
cities. You go back a hundred years and the inner city was a vibrant
society with new houses being built. Everything was great and it was
an upward spiral. And then at some point it started going down, and
all of a sudden people started moving out; they didn’t want to
live there anymore. The buildings are deserted, they start falling down
and you have gangs springing up with drug abuse, crime, whatever. And
all of a sudden the entire inner city can be in a downward spiral. And
there is obviously outer factors that play into that, but what if there
is also a vortex of negative energy that is accumulated over that place
over a century. And it simply overwhelms the people who live there.
They can’t free themselves from it; it is pulling them down.
In the book Save
Your Planet, Mother Mary gives a number of discourses that
explains these concepts in more detail. But the basic concept is, as
I have told you, that for thousands of years humankind has accumulated
negative energy around this planet. And when you look back at history
and all the wars, torture, anger, fear and negativity, it is not hard
to see that we have generated an enormous amount of negative energy
that keeps accumulating. And 200 years ago or 2,000 year ago, the explanation
I just gave you would have made no sense whatsoever to people. They
didn’t know about energy, they didn’t have the concept,
so you couldn’t have explained this to them.
Just think back 3-400 years and how people in the so-called civilized
world thought diseases were caused by mystical things that they could
not explain. And then they discovered bacteria and realized that many
diseases are caused by bacteria, so once you kill the bacteria, you
heal the disease. A very simple concept once you know, yet if you don’t
know, you have no defense against disease. People were mortally afraid
of certain diseases.
In today’s world we can have an entirely different view of our
world and we can see that we are no longer helpless, we are not defenseless.
In the past, people didn’t think they had any defense against
certain diseases. If somebody contracted a certain disease, they were
as good as dead. Pneumonia used to be deadly and 97% would die from
it. Now we know it is very simple to cure and we are not even considering
it a dangerous disease. But back then it was like cancer, so obviously
there is something we don’t yet know about cancer and once we
find out, we will be able to cure it.
It is the same with many other aspects of society. You look at society
and you see problems that seem to have absolutely no solution. We don’t
know what to do about a lot of these problems. But what if part of the
problem, perhaps the core of the problem, is this accumulation of negative
energy that has become so intense in certain places that it just overwhelms
people? And if we could remove that negative energy, the problems would
just disappear. It is a very simple concept, but when you think about
it, it is very profound.
There is a way out
And then you realize that the Ascended Host and God have known this
all along; they just couldn’t tell us because we didn’t
have the knowledge of science and energy that we have today. So they
had to do the best they could, given where we were at in consciousness.
And that is why they gave us a lot of spiritual rituals.
Why do we go to church? Part of it is that when we come together in
a group, our consciousness is combined. And when we come together for
a positive purpose, whether we are signing songs, giving devotion or
performing rituals, we are going into a love-based state of mind and
we are generating positive, love-based energy. This can then counteract
the negative energy we create on the other six days. And that is really
the spiritual meaning, the inner meaning, behind a lot of the outer
rituals found in many churches.
Because we don‘t understand them, they become rote, and it is
just something we do. You’ve gotta go to church, you’ve
gotta take communion, you’ve gotta pray. But when you understand
it in terms of energy, you get a whole new perspective on them. It suddenly
becomes alive, it becomes so much more interesting, practical and useful.
It is kind of like having a mortgage on your house, and you owe a lot
of money and it seems hopeless. But once you get some of it paid off
and you realize that every time you make a payment, you are getting
closer to having it paid off, it really spurs you on. You realize there
is a way out; it is not just hopeless.
Let’s say that instead of paying $800 for 30 years, you had the
money to pay $1500 a month, and you could get it over with in 12 or
15 years. All of a sudden, you realize, “Hey, this isn’t
so bad.” And this can give you a new perspective on life. You
realize that you don't have to be a slave of your past.
I remember growing up in Denmark, and my whole family was born in the
same town. They lived there their entire lives and they couldn’t
conceive of moving to get a better job. My whole family is going to
be buried in that same town. And I am not saying that is necessarily
wrong, but I am saying that the mindset was that you are growing when
you are a kid and you are learning things, but then when you become
an adult, you know what you need in order to get by in the world. And
then you just kind of hum along and you stay at that level until one
day your heart stops beating and they dig a hole for you.
And that was called life, but as Jesus said, that’s not life;
that’s death. That is spiritual death because if you think that
at the age of 20 your growth as an individual, as a soul, has stopped,
you are not alive any more. You are just humming along, and the reason
a lot of people think that way is that they get so overwhelmed by the
energies, in their area or in their energy fields, that they can’t
see a way out of it. They think there is no way out.
But once you realize the importance of energy, you see that there is
a way out, because you can requalify some of the energy that is pulling
you down, and then the downward pull is not going to be as bad. And
you are going to start feeling better, you will feel more joyous, more
harmonious, and all of a sudden you realize that your life could be
an upward spiral instead of standing still or going into a downward
spiral.
This gives you a different perspective because you can be very practical
about it. You don’t even have to be religious or spiritual. You
can look at it as a practical thing. There is low-frequency energy,
there is high-frequency energy, and the more low-frequency energy you
have, the more burdened you are going to be. But you can do something
about it; you can requalify it.
There are many spiritual techniques in the world that can help people
requalify energy because the solution is really very simple. Scientists
have shown that if you have an energy wave of a certain frequency and
you send an energy wave of a higher frequency at it, the two waves will
create an interference pattern. And if the two waves are matched right,
the high-frequency energy will increase the frequency of the low-frequency
wave. It is just a mechanical process, but it opens the perspective
that you can transform low-frequency energy back into high-frequency
energy and thereby free yourself from the "sins" of the past.
So if you feel burdened or depressed, what you need to do is to get
some high-frequency energy, and the place to get it is where it is abundantly
available, namely in the spiritual realm. You are not going to get it
down here because everything down here is of a low vibration. Actually
you can get some positive energy down here and that is why
people take a vacation, go out in nature and do something that is relaxing.
So you can get positive vibrations down here, but it is so much more
effective to get it from the spiritual realm because it has a higher
vibration and you can be very systematic about invoking it.
So there are many spiritual techniques that are aimed specifically at
helping people to invoke spiritual energy. I believe basically any spiritual
ritual is aimed at helping us invoke energy, even a devotional song
will get you in a love-based vibration. Yet I have personally found
that there are some techniques that are more effective than others,
and I believe that one of the most effective ways to invoke spiritual
energy is to use your voice, the spoken word.
You might remember that the Bible says, “God said, ‘Let
there be light.’” That was the first act of creation, and
in Eastern philosophy they teach that sound is the basic creative force
in the universe. And you might say that when God said, “Let there
be light,” what did God do? He created energy. Light is just another
word for energy. God created a substance, and it is like clay, it can
be molded into any form. But the clay is not going to mold itself into
a sculpture. Somebody has to act on the clay, and how does God act on
energy? He does so through sound, through the word.
We are the only creatures on this planet who have a sophisticated voice
power. Animals can make sounds, but we can make specific sounds that
carry meaning, and we can direct the sound in a very sophisticated way.
So God has given us the power to use the spoken word and to invoke spiritual
energy from Above. There are many techniques out there that will do
this, for example the hindus chant and sing devotional songs that are
more spiritual than much Western music. They have the concept that certain
tones can invoke a higher form of energy. There are many other spoken
techniques, for example in the 1930s a technique for invoking the violet
flame was released. This violet energy is close to the energies in the
material realm, and invoking it is very efficient way to transform negative
energy. Many people see violet light during meditation.
Using the rosaries to lighten your load
What Mother Mary has done through me is to give a number of rosaries,
and they are not your traditional Catholic rosary. They have a different
Hail Mary, and they also have certain affirmations, positive affirmations.
The rosaries will do two things; they will invoke spiritual light and
they will give you positive affirmations that can help you transform
any negative beliefs you have.
I am going to give you a brief overview, but consider why we misqualify
energy? Why do we go into a fear-based vibration? It is because we have
a negative belief, we have some kind of idea that we have accepted,
perhaps many lifetimes ago. “Your are stupid, you are no good,
you are a mortal human being, you can’t do this, you can’t
do that.” We have all kinds of negative beliefs that have been
programmed into our minds from childhood. But even over many lifetimes
our souls can come to believe such ideas.
So in order to really be free of the negative energy, you want to do
two things. You want to invoke high-frequency spiritual energy. But
if you keep misqualifying energy, you are facing an uphill battle. It
is like the good old saying that you walk two steps forward and you
slide one step backward. But if you could get to the point where you
are no longer misqualifying energy, you would grow much faster. And
to do that, you need to overcome the negative belief. Like Jesus said,
“The truth shall make you free.”
All of our negative beliefs are illusions. All fear is an illusion.
Fear is a fear of the unknown. The problem with fear is that it puts
us in a catch-22. You have a negative belief that is an illusion, but
you have come to accept it. And then, after you accept it, you become
afraid to look at the illusion. For example, think about how many Christians
have been brought up to think they are sinners and to fear questioning
church doctrines. How will they ever overcome that negative self-image
when they are afraid to question the doctrines that started the belief?
And that means you can’t
be free of it, you can’t resolve it because everything is up to
your free will. You made the decision, “I’m stupid,”
and in order to be free of that, you have to make a better decision,
“I am a God-free being. God created me with intelligence and the
idea that I was stupid was just an illusion.” But in order to
see the illusion, you have to look at it and understand why you made
that choice. You have to ask, “Why did I believe what they told
me when I was a child and I did something wrong.” How many of
you were told, “Your are bad,” when you were a child? And
it is so easy to believe that. And we have to go back and look at these
beliefs to get rid of them. And the affirmations in the rosaries help
us resolve negative beliefs.
Mother Mary’s rosaries are both teaching and invocation rituals
because they affirm the positive. So far I have received 16 different
rosaries and they each have a different focus. For example, there is
a rosary on forgiveness and you say a number of affirmations about forgiving
yourself, forgiving other people and forgiving God. And there is a rosary
on love where you work on the blockages to love. The natural flow of
energy is that love is going to flow through us. Love is unconditional
but we are brought up to accept conditions. “Oh, in this situation
you can’t be loving and in that situation you can't be loving.
You can’t have love flowing through you when someone is mad at
you.” We set up all these conditions in our minds, and we shut
off the flow of love.
We have to get back to the state where we get rid of the blockages so
that love can start flowing through us. It is the natural way, and if
you look at Jesus’ teachings, you see they are almost entirely
love-based. He was asked what was the most important commandment, and
he said it was to love God with all your mind, heart and soul and to
love your neighbor as yourself. Love your enemy, love those that hate
you. He was telling us that no matter what you experience in life, you
should always respond with love. That was his main philosophy. And if
you do that, if you always respond with love, the energy will flow back
up and it will not get stuck down here. And then you will get more in
return, which is the key to spiritual growth.
So before you all fall asleep, I am going to shift gears. Mother Mary
would like to speak but she would like you to do her a favor first.
