Know
the Eternal Silence!
A message from the Buddha.
NOTE: This
message was delivered on July 5, 2005 during the Shangra-la summer
conference.
I AM the Buddha in the crown,
seated in his celestial gown. And you will see me when the Mother Light
is raised to the crown and the thousand-petaled lotus unfolds and reveals
my Presence. I am here to give my momentum of all of the Buddhas that
are linked to Earth, to this new movement of the Guardians of the Mother
Light, because, truly, guarding the Mother Light is that important.
It is the master key to manifesting the Golden Age.

There is an
important relationship between the Mother and the Buddha. The Buddha
holds the balance for space, whereas the Mother holds the balance for
time. What is space? What is time? Space is the space in which form
can be manifest out of the void. Time is a sense of distance. Normally,
you think of space in terms of distance, but time, too, is a distance,
for truly one can say that time is not. And why is time not? Because
time is not real.
Time is a sense of distance from the place in the River of Life where
you would have been, if you had not delved into the duality consciousness,
whereby you set yourself apart from the flow of the River of Life. That
river will move on when you withdraw yourself from it. It will keep
moving. And your place in that river will remain empty as long as you
stay on the shores of duality.
And this is how the Mother Light allows you to create your own illusion
of separation. Yet the Law of God mandates that that illusion cannot
remain forever, because God loves you, and he does not want you to remain
trapped in your own self-created prison for eternity. And thus, time
becomes a function of your stepping outside of the River of Life.
And therefore, as soon as you step outside of that river, the clock
starts ticking, and you will not be able to maintain that illusion forever.
There will come a point, where you will have to make the ultimate choice
of whom you will serve. Will you choose the death of self-annihilation
or the life of reentering the River of Life? And when you plunge yourself
into that river without any conditions, the conditions you have used
to justify holding on to the shore, then you can quickly catch up to
your rightful place in God’s river.
And when you are at that place, you are beyond time—even if you
still maintain a physical focus here on planet Earth, you can truly
be beyond time. And that is why those who have reached enlightenment
realize that everything on Earth is the veil of Maya, the veil of illusion,
because it is ultimately not real. Behind it all is the River of Life,
and they know that the bigger part of their Being is in that river.
What is my mission in life?
So many of you are wondering, “What is my mission on this Earth?
Why am I here? What did I come to bring?” The key to finding out
why you are here is to reconnect with the Silence of the Buddha. This
is my offering to you – silence – the silence of Buddha
that is beyond the turmoil going on in this realm of time, this Sea
of Samsara.*
And thus I give you the visualization that when you find yourself in
the hustle and bustle of the marketplace, and you become aware that
you have become distraught, or stressed out or burdened, you step aside
and say, “Ah, I am caught in the mud at the bottom of the lake.
But now I will find that point of stillness within my heart, I will
find the seed of the lotus flower, and I will let it germinate and send
up a stalk to the surface of the water.”
And you visualize how the white Mother Light raises up from the base
to the crown, and as it reaches the crown, the thousand-petaled lotus
unfolds. And you are now no longer in the mud, because you are seated
as the Buddha – with my Presence superimposed upon you –
and you are literally floating on water. You are floating on the Sea
of Samsara, and nothing beneath the surface can touch you, because that
surface is calm like a sea of glass.
That is the silence. And take some time out, once in awhile, to just
enjoy the silence. There is so much noise in this world. Turn off the
radio. Turn off the music. Unplug yourself from the noisemaking machines
that people have invented to prevent you from experiencing the Eternal
Silence.
Uniting Buddha and Christ
You have been told about the God
Flames and I will give you a teaching that takes this a bit further.
Many of you might have wondered how you can have a spiritual teaching
that unites the Buddha and the Christ. What is the connection between
Buddha and Christ? Well, the Buddha and the Christ are symbols for two
spiritual offices that are meant to guide the evolution of Earth to
their salvation, to their enlightenment.
And the Buddha and the Christ do it in two different ways. The Buddha
is the one who sits on top of the Sea of Samsara and holds the balance
and the vision, holds that perfect balance for the Mother Light. The
Christ is the one who descends into that Sea of Samsara, to those who
are lost in ignorance and cannot ask the questions that will make them
free. And he offers them a cup of cold water in Christ’s name.
And this does not mean that he offers them the ultimate spiritual teaching,
for truly many people are not ready for it. And thus, when Jesus
says you have a right to go out and disturb those who are caught,
he does not mean that you have to give them the highest spiritual teaching
you can see. You need to tune in to the soul and say, “What does
that soul need to take the very next step? That is the cup of cold water
I will offer them.” That is the function of the Christ.
So when you transfer that to the concept that there are two aspects
of your God Flame, you can say, that the Alpha flame is also the Buddha
flame. This is the flame that you hold as a balance for the Earth. The
Omega flame is the Christ flame. This is the flame you bring to those
who are lost in ignorance, so that they can be awakened. You might have
heard that Christ is the Prince of Peace. Well, the Buddha is the King
of Peace. The Buddha sits on the throne, holding the overall vision
for the kingdom, and then he directs the prince to go out and cut free
those who are stuck in the mud.
Thus, the Christ flame is the Word incarnate. And did not Jesus say
– even though he was called the Prince of Peace – did he
not say, “Think not that I come to bring peace to the world. I
come to bring a sword” (Matthew 10:34). And what is that sword
of the Christ? It is the Word, the Word incarnate that cleaves asunder
the real from the unreal, so that people can see their egos and the
unreality of the ego, and thereby have the free choice to separate themselves
from it. That is the sword of Christ. And that is why, truly, Christ
did not come to bring peace into this world. He came to disturb those
who are trapped in ignorance, trapped in pride, trapped in hypocrisy,
and challenge them to come up higher.
He came to set brother against brother in the sense that he would rather
see people have conflict – that could bring out their egos, that
could bring out the worst in them – so that they might see that
aspect of the ego in themselves. He would rather see that kind of conflict
– that would lead to growth – than he would see everybody
remain indifferent, remain asleep, as if they were numb, walking through
life as if they were sleepwalking.
So thus, the Christ does come to disturb, to stir up the pot, and to
get people to move out of their indifference. And yet, the Christ is
the Prince of Peace because only when you are willing to take the battle
with the ego can you reach the true peace of freedom from that ego.
How can there be peace if people are trapped in the ego? And so the
Christ comes to bring them the sword that will allow themselves to divide
the Conscious You from your ego.
And this is the difference in your God flames. You hold a balance for
the Earth. But you are here to bring a sword and to be that Prince of
Peace—that you are willing to disturb those who think they have
peace, but it is the false peace.
And thus I am come to lend my momentum of peace, my momentum of silence,
to those who will guard the Mother Light. Because, truly, if you have
never made contact with the peace of the Buddha, how can you guard the
Mother Light? You will just be caught in another dualistic fight between
those who are absorbed in their egos.
* The Sea of Samsara is defined as the objective world;
sea of change; cycle of birth and death; transmigration.
