What
life is about and my role in it

The book, Master Keys to the Abundant Life, was written by Kim Michaels
as received from Mother Mary. This book has had a profound affect on
me. I am not or have not been overly religious. Shortly after marring
my wife, Rose, I took some Catholic courses, mainly to help me understand
the thought process involved with most Catholics. So I was a little
familiar with the idea that Mother Mary, or the Virgin Mary, was someone
that could be prayed to for assistance. This book is more like a pouring
out of love from a mother to her children. It is very easy to read and
you get the sense that she really cares about you and wants you to do
your best to escape this Duality consciousness and put on the Christ
Consciousness. She then proceeds to explain in a very concise and believable
way what you need to do to escape. She let’s you know that it
will not be an easy task, but it is an imperative task that you yourself
must perform, and that you have everything you need right inside yourself
to be successful. She introduces the idea of a path that you can follow
to find your way home, back to the kingdom of God, and that there is
a great need to have thousands of people here on Earth Come into Oneness
while here.
A lot of the teachings had a ring of truth to them. I felt as if I already
knew, deep inside myself, that the teachings I was getting from the
world were incomplete, if not fragmented. Mary clearly explains what
is occurring on the Earth today and why. She also explains where we
come from and who we are. These teachings go WAY beyond what any religion
can do for you. Those basic questions about who you are and why you
are here are clearly and methodically discussed so that it can be easily
understood by the average person. With this information, you can now
formulate a plan to escape the negative energies of this world and the
mass consciousness that tries to make you compromise your values and
morals so that you are just like the rest of the people on Earth.
From the teachings in the book and the experience at the retreat, I
can now formulate what I think this life is about and what my role in
it is:
I am an individualization of God. God created us so that he could experience
this world of form thru us. We were created in Gods image and likeness,
which does not mean that he is an old man with a white beard, but that
we have free will, the same capacity for imagination and creation that
he has. This world we find ourselves in is made from the substance of
God, like everything else in the universe. Our role, that we freely
chose, is to expand the light of God here in this material world.
The essential problem here on Earth is that we have made a mistake in
the Garden of Eden and then refused to face the teacher in the garden
when we realized that we had made that mistake. This caused us to lose
our contact with our I AM presence and we created the ego as a substitute
for that lost connection. This ego cannot fathom the reality of God
because it is made from the low vibration energies of this material
world and it views everything from a dualistic, relative point of view.
In order to return to the Kingdom of God, we must remove the ego from
our consciousness and let it be replaced by the will of our higher self,
the I AM presence. Ultimately, we must come back to the realization
that we ARE God, and that we are not separate, but a part of the whole
of God. This does not mean that we lose our individuality, but that
we become more and add that more to God.
Thanks to this book, Kim and Lorraine and love of the people at the
retreat, I have a path to walk to help me remember who I am and express
that individuality.
